Customers in National Fuel’s Western New York service area can receive a number of money-saving rebates by installing new, energy-efficient natural gas appliances.

Conservation Incentive Program Year 2024

Rebate information for equipment installed between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.

Applications for 2024 must be postmarked by March 31, 2025, to receive a rebate.

Rebates are available for the following items, providing they were installed between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.

All eligible measures must be installed by a licensed contractor, or a contractor that can supply you with either a Federal ID number, or a Certificate of insurance, or a Business Certificate. The only exception to this is an ENERGY STAR®-labeled gas clothes dryer installation.

In order for a rebate application to be considered complete and processed, the following information must be supplied for furnaces, boilers, water heaters and Wi-Fi thermostats:

  • Paid invoice or receipt(s) indicating the retailer/contractor name, business address, phone and one of the following: Federal ID (tax) number, Certificate of Insurance or Business Certificate.
  1. Manufacturer and complete model number of the equipment installed.
  2. AFUE (efficiency) rating for natural gas furnace or boiler.
  3. Product installation date.

NOTE: Rebates are available for existing single-family homes, multi-family homes, condominiums, mobile homes and new builds.

Applications for Program Year 2024 must be postmarked by March 31, 2025, to receive a rebate.

Please note: The program is only open to Western New York customers in our service territory. All appliances must be installed by a contractor. The only exception to this is an ENERGY STAR®-labeled gas clothes dryer installation. Contractors must be able to supply one of the following in order for the rebate application to be considered complete: Federal ID number, a Certificate of Insurance or a Business Certificate showing their company’s name and address. Rebates are available for equipment upgrades, as well as new builds.
